Meet Pen Macias!

A woman with brown hair in a braid, smiling, wearing a sleeveless, button-up, khaki vest with her hand in her pocket, standing against a plain wall.

I’m Pen Macias, a Tucson-based mural artist specializing in large-scale murals. I have called Tucson home for over 20 years, and love our wonderful city!

My artistic style is colorful, whimsical, and rooted in a strong sense of place. Through bold colors, playful details, and locally inspired imagery, I create murals that celebrate the stories, people, and environments that make each community special.

I love transforming ordinary spaces into meaningful, memorable experiences. My work often incorporates desert flora and fauna, local landmarks, and regional cultural influences to create artwork that feels authentic to its surroundings.

I believe public art has the power to bring people together, spark curiosity, and foster a deeper connection! Thank you for visiting! I would love to hear from you!
